In 2011, we had more Herb Walks on the VRP than anywhere else around Ventura County. The easy access and diversity of habitats makes it ideal for field study. Kudos to the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy for all the work they do to purchase and preserve these wild places.

In 2011, we inaugurated the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy‘s new ADA-accessible Old Baldwin Road Trailhead on the Ventura River Preserve. More are planned for 2012, starting on February 26.
