During this class\, we will go on a 2-hour herb walk with Lanny and Emily at the Chumash Garden to learn about local and native plants for skin care. Then join Emily on the outdoor patio at Nutmeg’s Ojai House to make remedies for acne\, oily skin\, dry skin\, sunburn\, exfoliation\, rejuvenation\, lightening spots & wrinkles. As an herbal educator\, Lanny also leads workshops and presentations throughout the Ojai-Ventura-Santa Barbara area on the edible and medicinal uses of California plants. He holds a degree in Biology from UC Santa Cruz\, serves on the faculty of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at California State University\, Channel Islands. \n\n\n\nLanny is the author of Medicinal Herbs of California: A Field Guide to Common Healing Plants (Falcon Guides\, 2021).
