Free Outdoor Seminar & Book Signing at Green Thumb Nursery

Please join me for a free seminar on native plants and a book signing outdoors at Green Thumb Nursery in Ventura on Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nurseryman Richard Flowers and the rest of the staff have been building up the California native plant section over the last few years. There is a lot of great plant material in stock and October is the perfect time to plant native plants to be able to take advantage of the winter rains. I will discuss the edible, medicinal and other uses of the plants and describe their growth habits in the home garden.

Copies of my book, Medicinal Herbs of California, will be on hand for sale and signing.
