Thank you for leading a terrific herb walk on a perfect day. In all my years in Ventura County, that was my first venture into the Potrero. I was immediately struck by the awe inspiring view of Mt. Haddock framed by complex sedimentary rock walls forming the canyon. I was a little surprised at the diversity of the flora in the canyon. It is rare to find someone with so much knowledge who still listens, who still is respectful of other opinions, and who still finds a sense of awe in the natural world. I really appreciate the classes you offer that give a platform for other teachers, but the ones I love most (by far!) are the ones you teach yourself.
