Chumash Garden Edible Plant Walk

Cancellation policy: I will refund your payment if you notify me up to 72 hours (3 days) before the start of the event. After that I will make every effort to fill your space (and I’m usually successful) but cannot guarantee.

Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, this walk, originally scheduled for Cluff Vista Park, will be held at the nearby Chumash Garden behind the Ojai Valley Museum at 106 N. Blanche St. in downtown Ojai.
On Saturday, September 23, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. I will lead an Edible Plant Walk in the Chumash Garden behind the Ojai Valley Museum. The walk is open to all by registration but it will be of special interest to those attending the Autumnal Equinox Beer Dinner at Ojai Valley Brewery, featuring Barbareño Restaurant of Santa Barbara. You can reserve tickets at the link in the previous sentence for the dinner which begins at 6:30 p.m. Dinner reservations do not include admission to the walk.
On this particular walk, I will focus on edible (and drinkable) herbs and wild foods, some of which will be featured in the beers and on the menu at the dinner to follow the walk that evening. You can expect to see coast live oak, elderberry, sage, wild California rose hips, wild buckwheat, and two species of native cherries.
