An Herb Walk is the perfect gift for that person who has plenty of “stuff” and would appreciate an educational outdoor experience. Those already familiar with native plants of Southern California will probably take a big leap forward in their knowledge. Newcomers will marvel at the many aromas, stories, and uses contained in each plant we encounter on the trail.
Herb Walks and Nature Hikes are held from February into November in Southern California in areas around Ojai, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and northern Los Angeles county. Herb Walks are 2 to 3 hours and cover less than 1 mile each way. Herb Hikes are 3.5 to 5 hours and cover approximately 2 miles each way. Events with special guest presenters may cost more.
The $30 certificate covers the cost of a 3.5 to 5 hour Nature Hike for one adult.
The $25 certificate covers the cost of a 2.5 to 3 hour Herb Walk for one adult or a Nature Hike for a senior 62 and older.
The $20 certificate covers the cost of a 2.5 hour Herb Walk for seniors.
The $15 certificate covers any walk or hike for students 13-178.
Any certificate can also be applied toward any event with a higher admission charge.
You will receive a signed certificate with the recipient field left blank for you to fill in. Please allow 2-3 days for printing and delivery by first-class mail. For last-minute gifts, we can sometimes (depending on the timing) offer to scan the gift certificate and email it as an attachment to you or your recipient.
