My husband and I have moved up to Northern CA so I’m sad to say I won’t be participating in future Herb Walks. However, I’ll always remember fondly your wonderful sharing of herbal plants and medicine with the community. I learned so much from you and it was a joy to be with like-minded folks. Blessings to you and your wife.

I got laurel sumac, holly-leaved cherry, chamise (I liked what you told us about it being a good firewood in wet weather), poison oak, toyon, basketbush, desert sage, madrone, and manzanita. I enjoyed the herb walk very much, and learned many things. As a gardener I have a great love for and appreciation of plants but you have broadened my horizons with some knowledge of the healing properties of plants.
