Shortly after the controversial Pine Mountain Project was proposed by the U. S. Forest Service this summer, Los Padres ForestWatch submitted a Freedom of Information Act request for tree stand data being used by the agency to establish logging targets for the 755-acre project on Pine Mountain Ridge in Ventura County.
In November, LPFW filed an appeal of the U.S.F.S. decision to deny their FOAI request for the data. You can ready the whole story at this link.
