Stinging Nettles on the News

SynchroP1030438nicity strikes again! Yesterday, on the Herb Walk on Potrero John Creek, I demonstrated how to eat raw Giant Stinging Nettles (Urtica holosericea), as shown to me by one of my teachers, the late Juanita Centeno. This morning, on Good Morning America, we saw chef Mario Batali cooking up Stinging Nettles Fettuccine. Here’s his recipe for Stinging Nettles Fettuccine with House-Made Pancetta and Asparagus.
