I enjoyed the herb walk very much, and learned many things. As a gardener I have a great love for and appreciation of plants but you have broadened my horizons with some knowledge of the healing properties of plants. Thank you for leading a terrific herb walk on a perfect day. In all my years in Ventura County, that was my first venture into the Potrero. I was immediately struck by the awe inspiring view of Mt. Haddock framed by complex sedimentary rock walls forming the canyon. I was a little surprised at the diversity of the flora in the canyon. Your workshop was transformational. To be at the Earth Island Medicinal Garden for a whole day, basking in the smell and beauty of the medicinal herbs, was a true pleasure. To learn about their medicinal uses and then to spend the afternoon crafting with herbs was truly fun and informative. The finale to the day was magical when Lanny sang and drummed for us.
