Herb Walk and Native Landscaping Workshop this Saturday, December 6

Ron at OVLC Nursery
Nursery Manager Ron Singer demonstrates planting techniques at the Ojai Meadows Nursery on a previous Herb Walk.

I’m thrilled that I was able to put together an all-star lineup for this workshop. If you’ve been thinking about transforming your yard into a native landscape, you’ll want to be there for this one.

The day will begin with an Herb Walk at Cluff Vista Park in downtown Ojai with special guests, landscape contractor Jessica Thompson of Green Goddess Gardens, and Thomas Bostrom, the landscape architect who designed the park.

The afternoon workshop will take place at the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy’s Ojai Meadows Nursery under the guidance of Nursery Manager Ron Singer.

In the course of the day, participants will identify and discuss native plants in the context of a professionally designed landscape and gain hands-on experience planting and transplanting natives.

The cost is $30 per person by reservation. To register or for more information please contact register@herbwalks.com or call 805-646-6281.
